Responsibilities
Cardinal Technology Systems Corp. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Jr. Contracts Specialist to work for our company.
Summary
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government PUBLIC TRUST / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Responsible for supporting the Contracts Manager in the administration, review, and coordination of company contracts.
- Assist with contract documentation, compliance tracking, and agreement processing, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, 1099 independent contractor agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontract (SubK) agreements
- Provides foundational experience in contract lifecycle management within a government contracting environment.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in contracts administration, legal support, procurement, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while supporting a senior Contracts Manager
Preferences
- Basic understanding of contract terminology and contract lifecycle processes is preferred
- Experience assisting with NDAs, 1099 agreements, subcontract agreements, or similar contractual documents is preferred
- Experience supporting federal contracts or government subcontracting environments
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS principles
- Experience maintaining contract tracking logs and documentation systems
