IS Epic Application Coordinator - Clinical Improvement

Overview:


 

 **Full time remote with occasional onsite required**

We are seeking an Epic Application Analyst to Support implementation of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety initiatives. This position is responsible for defining system and process requirements that will optimize system performance and technology utilization by clinical practitioners. Acts as a resource for designing information systems and technologies that support efficient and intuitive clinical workflows. Understands current, future and present system functionality of clinical information systems through design, configuration, and testing procedures.


 

Job Description Summary:


 

Performs the planning, design, build, validation, testing, and implementation of information systems that support and enhance clinical practice and business processes. Works with minimal supervision to design, build, implement, and support core Epic module(s) and accounts for integration points with other EHR modules. Must have the ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements; could require occasional after-hours support and overnight travel.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, required.

Licensure Requirement:

Clinical licensure or equivalent certifications, preferred.

Certifications:

Epic certification within 6 months of hire, required.
