We are looking for a Gardener / Grounds Person to join our team in a full time role at our remote operations in Moranbah. Opportunities are available now with an immediate start.

 

THE POSITION

This role is responsible for maintaining the grounds and outdoor areas across our accommodation villages. Duties include:

• Turf, garden and planted area care
• Operating equipment, machinery and ride on vehicles
• Implementing pest management and plant nutrition programs
• General cleaning and grounds maintenance
• Maintaining reticulation systems
• Working safely and following best practice FM standards

 

THE PERSON

We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work and brings a strong focus on safety and reliability. You will ideally have:

• Experience in a similar gardening or grounds role
• Pesticide Licence
• Chainsaw Licence
• Working With Children Check
• Full C Class Drivers Licence and White Card
• National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical including drug and alcohol screening
• Good understanding of maintenance processes and WHS requirements
