Seniority
1 - 4 years of experience as a full-stack or product engineer.
Work experience
At least one recognizable company on their resume (internships ok for earlier tenures).
Experience shipping product features end to end with real user impact.
Previous customer-facing experience.
Education
Degree from a well-known school (e.g., Georgia Tech, Berkeley, UIUC, Waterloo).
Hard skills
Proficient in Python or TypeScript.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience with LLMs, voice AI, or agent systems.
Miscellaneous
Able to spend significant time in SF (remote-flexible but SF presence required).
Currently in an active IC engineering role (not managing).
Visible career velocity (e.g., fast promotions or clearly increasing scope across roles).
Traits to avoid
Has been in pure people management for the past 2+ years.
Job hopping patterns (2 or more recent 1 year stints).
Infra/DevOps-heavy background with limited product delivery.
Extensive time spent in big tech.
