Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Operations Analyst to join our Terminal Customer Service (ACS) Resource Planning team within the Operations Investigation and Execution (OAP) division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conducting sophisticated analysis of operational and staffing metrics to drive both operational efficiency and financial performance.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across the organization, developing predictive models and providing strategic insights that directly impact how arenaflex serves its customers reliably and efficiently. You will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable intelligence that shapes resource allocation decisions and improves our terminal operations.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Operations Analyst at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of operational intelligence, using your analytical expertise to solve complex business challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing predictive models and forecasts to proactively identify ACS setup requirements by collaborating with multiple cross-functional ACS departments
- Conducting comprehensive analysis of resource utilization and identifying more optimal and efficient operational solutions
- Creating detailed reports related to the performance of resource planning initiatives and presenting findings to leadership
- Analyzing emerging trends in ACS resource planning to stay ahead of operational demands and industry best practices
- Locating and extracting data from various sources for use in analytical models, forecasts, and project development
- Identifying and developing new data sources while building foundational analytical models and forecasting techniques
- Applying descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytical methodologies to highlight business challenges, propose potential solutions, and explain relevant tradeoffs
- Developing new strategic analytical models or refining existing ones to improve accuracy and relevance
- Transforming complex data into meaningful insights using data visualization and analytical storytelling techniques
- Producing comprehensive reports and analyses with guidance from senior leadership
- Supporting complex process improvement and project management initiatives for both individual business units and cross-divisional programs
- Presenting findings to OAP and business unit leaders, including C-suite executives and senior stakeholders
- Serving as an internal subject matter expert to partners and providing insights that drive measurable business results
- Consistently prioritizing the safety and security of yourself, your colleagues, and sensitive organizational information

Essential Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with analytical tools including SQL, Python, and Tableau is required. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and have the ability to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data effectively.

- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the aviation industry or transportation/logistics sector
- Experience with workforce management systems and resource planning tools
- Knowledge of airport operations and terminal customer service functions
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Master's or PhD)
- Six Sigma or Lean certification
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies
