In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for generating robust Real World Evidence through cutting-edge research and innovative methodologies in the clinical trials space. You will serve as a key contributor to our Scientific Projects team, driving impact both internally and externally through the use of creative data science and technology.
This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional who is passionate about transforming healthcare outcomes through advanced analytics. You will have the chance to work with vast amounts of healthcare data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to meaningful research that helps biopharmaceutical companies understand treatment effectiveness, patient populations, and healthcare economic burdens.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where innovation is encouraged and new ideas are welcomed. You will be responsible for conducting sophisticated data analysis to help address critical business questions and support evidence-based decision making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with members of the Clinical Trial team to deliver actionable insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests. Potential projects include analysis of unmet medical needs, safe and effective treatments in specific disease states, treatment patterns, healthcare economic burden, and cost-effectiveness modeling.
- Data Integration and Management: Clean, transform, and store data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team utilization. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
- Statistical Analysis and Insights: Perform data mining and statistical analysis to analyze RWE/Real World Data (RWD) to discover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment outcomes. Apply advanced statistical methodologies to uncover patterns and trends that inform clinical decision-making.
- Capability Development: Support the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities by applying advanced analysis and tools to address scientific inquiries from biopharmaceutical organizations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytical frameworks and methodologies.
- Research Study Execution: Collaborate on the design and execution of outcomes research studies, ensuring methodological rigor and statistical validity. Work closely with clinical experts to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
- Quality Assurance and Reporting: Ensure high-quality, rigorous, and readily interpretable outputs from RWE reviews and investigations. Maintain documentation standards and ensure reproducibility of analytical processes.
- Dashboard and Report Development: Build dashboards, analyses, and reports for both internal and external use. Create compelling visualizations that communicate complex findings to diverse stakeholders including clinical teams, executive leadership, and external clients.
- Vendor Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on new real-world data providers and vendors. Drive RWD quality assessments to inform project decisions and ensure data sources meet our rigorous quality standards.
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
