**Job Summary**
As a Remote Customer Retention Specialist, you'll be responsible for engaging with existing policyholders, understanding their needs, and reselling the benefits of our life insurance policies. Your primary goal will be to retain customers, address their concerns, and provide personalized solutions that meet their unique needs. **Key Responsibilities**
* Handle high-volume calls in a call center environment, averaging 90+ calls per day, with a mix of inbound and outbound calls
* Engage with existing policyholders who are considering canceling their policies, explaining the benefits of life insurance and reselling our products
* Service cancellation requests, ensuring a seamless customer experience
* Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide personalized solutions
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call volume, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction
**Requirements**
* 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, receptionist role, or a role that involves frequent phone interactions
* 6+ months of experience in retention, sales, or collections
* 18 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Strong remote experience (although not required)
* Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Download and 20 Upload (hard-wired connection)
* Smartphone with VPN access
* Ability to work in a quiet and professional environment
* Basic computer knowledge and skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm
* Superior customer service skills, including friendliness, efficiency, and active listening
* Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Insurance industry experience (although not required)

**Compensation and Benefits**
* Competitive hourly rate of $15.89 (base pay)
* Bonus pay (prorated commission) of up to an additional $6.00/hr based on performance

**Training and Onboarding**
* Initial training will take place in Waco, Texas, for the first 4 weeks of employment
* Part-time AM schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm (CST), Monday to Friday
* Schedule post-training: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm
