We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused professional to join our team as an Insurance Customer Relations Specialist. As a key member of our sales support team, you'll play a vital role in providing comprehensive support to our sales team, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.
**Job Summary**
As an Insurance Customer Relations Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Delivering exceptional customer service to clients via phone, website, and chat interactions
* Handling customer inquiries, preparing and processing sales documents, and managing customer accounts
* Providing guidance on insurance needs, offering estimates, and educating customers on options to increase or add coverage
* Researching, analyzing, and responding to customer policy inquiries and changes
* Quoting new and additional lines of insurance, preparing and completing insurance applications, and following up on required information
* Achieving performance goals, meeting pre-defined individual performance objectives focused on productivity and customer satisfaction
* Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support the team and meet customer demands
**Responsibilities**
* Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:
+ Build rapport with customers, gather necessary information, and create a positive, high-level customer experience in a fast-paced, structured environment
+ Utilize active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns
+ Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Handle Customer Inquiries:
+ Answer incoming customer calls to service and maintain existing accounts
+ Ensure all interactions are handled efficiently and professionally
+ Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding their policies and coverage
* Educate and Advise Customers:
+ Offer guidance on insurance needs, provide estimates, and educate customers on options to increase or add coverage

+ Utilize product knowledge to identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products
* Policy Management:
+ Research, analyze, and respond to customer policy inquiries and changes

* Sales Support:
+ Quote new and additional lines of insurance
+ Prepare and complete insurance applications
+ Follow up on required information to ensure a smooth process

+ Utilize data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
* Flexibility:

**Qualifications**
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and team members
* Familiarity with multiple insurance carriers and state insurance regulations is preferred
* Ability to multitask, stay detail-oriented, and maintain exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
* A team player with strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to empathize with customers
* Solid computer and typing skills, with proficiency in navigating a Windows environment
* Competence in simultaneously navigating and toggling between multiple systems, including data entry, quoting applications, insurance software, and communication platforms
* Strong problem resolution skills to address and resolve customer concerns effectively
* Bilingual Spanish a plus
**Education/Experience**
* High School diploma or its equivalent
* Bachelor's degree a plus
* Active Resident Property & Casualty Insurance Producer license
* 1+ years customer service experience in the insurance or related industry

**Pay Range**
USD $39,531.00 - USD $69,051.00 /Yr.
