**What You'll Achieve in This Role**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing high-performing data storage solutions that minimize risk, reduce costs, and maximize system lifetime. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and defining clear data architecture
* Selecting the most suitable data storage solutions and technologies based on business needs and arenaflex standards
* Modeling data relationships to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements and optimal system performance
* Developing, refining, and optimizing data designs, loading, and access strategies to minimize costs and extend system lifespan
* Working closely with data engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data storage solutions
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* At least 7 years of combined experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data design, architecture, and implementation
* In-depth knowledge of data engineering life cycles and familiarity with multiple data design methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to gather and report business requirements for data planning
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least two ETL tools and programming languages (e.g., PERL or Python)
* Hands-on experience with multiple database/storage engines (e.g., relational databases and NoSQL databases)
* Strong understanding of server-side programming and data pipelines
* Familiarity with commercial engineering principles to collaborate with applications, infrastructure, and security architects on comprehensive solutions
