The Teams Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.  Our structural engineering teams provide custom solutions for new constructions and expansions, with a strong record in notable projects like Coors Field, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and Harborcenter. Our investigative engineers are pivotal in supporting ongoing projects by planning and implementing repairs, renovations, and improvements for buildings and sites. Projects have included the historic Brown Palace hotel, nationwide work with the United States Postal Service, the University of Denver, and other parking garage repair/restorations. Find Your Fit Professional Engineer (PE) • Ideal for: Licensed Professional Engineer with 4+ years of full-time professional engineering experience. • Requirements: • Civil: Bachelor’s degree • Structural/Investigative: Master’s degree • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Project Engineer • Ideal for: Licensed Professional Engineer with 6+ years of full-time professional engineering experience. Experience with project management and work with clients, internal stakeholders, and external teams. • Requirements: • Civil: Bachelor’s degree • Structural/Investigative: Master’s degree • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Senior Project Engineer • Ideal for: Licensed Professional Engineer with 8 – 9+ years of full-time professional engineering experience. Experience with project management and work with clients, internal stakeholders, and external teams. Has led or managed (directly or indirectly) project teams. • Requirements: • Civil: Bachelor’s degree • Structural/Investigative: Master’s degree • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Examples Of Responsibilities: • Coordinates our work with in-house teams and external project teams • Develops, monitors, and manages work plans, schedules, and design budgets • Keeps clients satisfied and developing a skillset to address client management problems • Opens projects, establishes budgets, and submits information to accounting team. Follows project close‑out process. • Manages engineers and CAD/BIM technicians to complete projects • Manages small to medium projects or portions of large projects • Serves as the primary point-of-contact with clients and contractors • Participates in technical committees or other special projects Working Conditions, Skills, and Abilities This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required: • Move inside or outside the office and on non-ADA accessible construction sites • Remain stationary for long periods of time • Repetitive movement on tasks such as using a keyboard or mouse • Carry, ascend, and descend a ladder • Identify color • Read, communicate, and document in English • Determine and exchange accurate information • Occasionally move or hold equipment weighing up to 50 pounds • Investigative: Position self in atypical environments and small, confined areas Requirements Required • Civil: Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum • Structural and Investigative: Master’s degree from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) • 1 year of professional experience equivalencies include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, OR passing the 16-hour NCEES structural engineering exam • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in a Martin/Martin office location. • Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function. Compensation The wage range for all roles at Martin/Martin considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Typical roles include: • Base Salary • Base Salary Review: Roles are eligible to participate in Martin/Martin’s annual base salary increase review process. • Annual Bonus: Roles are eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program. Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
