As a member of the arenaflex team, you will be part of a dynamic and inclusive community that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. **About the Position** The Customer Service Specialist – Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt is a critical role within the Student Business Services department, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students, parents, and university departments. As a member of this team, you will be the front door and face of Student Business Services, providing information, advice, and counsel on a variety of federal, state, and institutional student policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and university departments, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Research, investigate, analyze, and follow up on student questions, providing accurate and timely information * Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) privacy guidelines * Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of arenaflex campus policies and procedures, as well as industry standards * Represent Student Business Services by effectively communicating with diverse groups, including students, faculty, staff, and the general public * Provide back-up on phones, live chat, and in-person Student Business Services as needed * Collaborate with Financial Aid, Admissions, Registrar, Accounts Payable, and other Student Service departments to provide seamless customer service * Assist in monitoring and creating content for departmental social media platforms to aid with customer service **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience * Working knowledge of general practices, program, or administrative specialty * Basic knowledge of and the ability to apply fundamental concepts * Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures * Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit, or administrative specialty * Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis * Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques * Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments * Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience using PeopleSoft Student Financials functionality in a university environment * Working knowledge of Federal/CSU rules and policies * Experience providing customer service in a Higher Educational environment **Special Working Conditions** * Notice of Non-Discrimination on the Basis of Gender or Sex and Contact Information for Title IX Coordinator * California State University, Fullerton celebrates all forms of diversity and is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive environment where students, staff, administrators, and faculty thrive * Individuals interested in advancing the University's strategic diversity goals are strongly encouraged to apply * Reasonable accommodations will be provided for qualified applicants with disabilities who self-disclose **What We Offer** * Competitive salary range: $3,879 - $4,300 per month * Ongoing appointment type * Full-time time base * Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM work schedule * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * Retirement plan options * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for professional development and growth **How to Apply** If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of students, we invite you to apply for the Customer Service Specialist – Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt position at arenaflex.
