As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to internal and external customers, resolving issues in a timely and accurate manner, and promoting our products. You will work in a remote setting, interacting with customers daily by phone and in writing, and will be required to have flexibility to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00am and 7:00pm CST. **Primary Responsibilities** * Ensure quality customer service for internal and external customers, focusing on needs identification, problem-solving, and partnering with billing and eligibility specialists * Monitor delegated customer service issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution * Use appropriate communication techniques when responding to customers, particularly in stressful situations * Inform and educate new customers regarding billing/invoicing set up and billing/payment procedures * Place outgoing phone calls to complete follow-up on customer service requests as necessary **Key Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly **Required Qualifications** * High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience * 1+ years of current or previous experience with the UMR Claims Processing System (UMR is arenaflex's third-party administrator (TPA) solution) * 4+ years of combined education, work, and/or volunteer experience * Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00am and 7:00pm CST **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a customer service or sales role * Knowledge of health insurance and benefits * Experience working in a remote setting * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
