Our mission is to redefine healthcare services, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to join our team. **Job Summary** As a Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for answering inbound customer service calls related to patient accounting questions. When inbound call volumes are low, you may make outbound follow-up calls on outstanding AR accounts. Your exceptional customer service skills, combined with your ability to analyze and resolve problems efficiently, will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Answer inbound customer service calls and make some outbound follow-up calls in a professional, service-oriented manner. * Ascertain the reason for the call and assist the caller with their questions, concerns, or problems, with a focus on timely, first-call resolution. * Document all actions during the call in proprietary software. * Participate in 1x1s and huddles with leadership to review performance opportunities and provide coaching. * Maintain control of the call by de-escalating issues and instilling confidence that the resolution has been found. * Function effectively under stress, conflicting demands on time and attention, and sometimes, under duress from difficult personalities. * Interpret and apply reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts. * Demonstrate attentive listening skills and clearly articulate a response to the customer using appropriate voice modulation. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** To succeed in this role, you must possess: * Exceptional customer service skills, including effective and efficient problem-solving and analyzing skills. * A professional and calming tone of voice with complete command of the English language, free of inappropriate grammar. * The ability to effectively summarize what transpired on a call in notes, enabling the next team member to pick up where you left off. * The ability to facilitate conversations with others and establish an understanding of the customer's issue or reason for contact. * The ability to perform essential job functions with a high degree of independence, flexibility, and creative problem-solving techniques. * The ability to interpret and apply reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts. **Education and Experience** * High school education or the equivalent. * 1-2 years of prior experience in an inbound call center and/or customer service environment; hospital patient account billing with experience or knowledge of 3rd-party reimbursements from insurance companies and government payers is a plus. **Work Environment** * Remote work environment with a headset and multiple workstations within close proximity. * Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods of time. **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive hourly rate: $14.50 - $21.80 per hour, depending on location, qualifications, and experience. * Position may be eligible for a signing bonus for qualified new hires, subject to employment status. * Conifer observed holidays receive time and a half. * Comprehensive benefits package, including: + Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. + Paid time off (vacation & sick leave) – minimum of 12 days per year, accrue at a rate of approximately 1.84 hours per 40 hours worked. + 401k with up to 6% employer match. + 10 paid holidays per year. + Health savings accounts, healthcare & dependent flexible spending accounts. + Employee Assistance program, Employee discount program. + Voluntary benefits include pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long-term care, elder & childcare, AD&D, auto & home insurance. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * arenaflex offers a range of training programs and resources to help you develop your skills and advance your career. * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including mentorship and leadership roles. * A dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. **Why Join arenaflex?** * Join a leading healthcare industry expert with 30 years of expertise. * Be part of a team that is revolutionizing patient accounting and customer service. * Enjoy a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits. * Develop your skills and advance your career in a dynamic and supportive work environment. * Make a difference in the lives of our clients and patients. **Apply Now** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
