SUMMARY

Serves as the designated safety representative in a region or service line, reporting to an Employee Safety and Risk Manager. The Employee Safety and Risk Specialist or ESR-S promotes the company’s Culture of Safety through knowledge of safety and risk standard processes, analysis and reporting, safety trainings and assigned operations safety plans. The ESR-S assists operations with OSHA regulatory compliance. Facilitates and monitors the injured employee safe and timely return to work at the business unit level. Collaborates with the ESR Director and Manager to implement department initiatives, and manages ESR-S assignments as appropriate.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work.  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
