• Healthcare Coalition Preparedness Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for hospitals, healthcare organizations, and coalition partners regarding emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare partners, public health organizations, and emergency response stakeholders.
• Identify preparedness gaps, challenges, and resource needs among healthcare organizations and assist with developing solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support emergency preparedness goals and objectives.
• Attend and facilitate coalition meetings, preparedness discussions, and partner engagement activities.
• Develop meeting agendas, maintain meeting notes, track action items, and support follow-up activities.
• Assist with emergency planning, training, exercises, and readiness improvement activities.
• Support the coordination, tracking, and reporting of preparedness projects and grant-related activities.
• Monitor program deliverables, documentation, inventory records, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for leadership and program stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on preparedness policies, procedures, resources, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain communication plans and distribute important program information to partners.
• Assist with reviewing and updating program policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying challenges and implementing corrective action plans.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public health, emergency preparedness, emergency management, healthcare preparedness, or public safety programs.
• Experience identifying operational gaps, evaluating needs, and recommending appropriate resources or solutions.
• Experience supporting emergency planning, training programs, exercises, and preparedness activities.
• Experience tracking data, maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing documentation.
• Experience coordinating meetings with multiple stakeholders and maintaining action items.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with healthcare organizations, government partners, and community stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, Healthcare Administration, Homeland Security, or a related field.
• Experience working with healthcare coalitions, disaster preparedness programs, or community response organizations.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting grant-funded programs and reporting requirements.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
