Westinghouse Electric Co is focused on providing clean energy solutions and is seeking a Procurement Engineer to support project management and delivery. This role involves coordinating supplier evaluations, facilitating communications, and ensuring project execution aligns with quality and schedule expectations.
Responsibilities
- Support pre‑PO and post‑PO procurement activities to ensure readiness and predictable delivery
- You will assist with supplier identification, evaluation, down‑selection, and negotiations
- Communicate technical and quality requirements to suppliers
- Collaborate with GSCS, Engineering, Quality, and Supplier Performance Engineering on project planning and execution
- Improve cost and schedule certainty through supplier management efforts
- Create agendas and lead kick-off meetings with Suppliers
- Conduct scheduled meetings with Suppliers and Westinghouse project support team members
- Work with Supplier Performance Engineering to develop supplier oversight plans and manage execution of supplier oversight and witness and hold points
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
- Experience or previous project work related to Power Generation, Nuclear, Manufacturing, Project Management or Supply Chain
- US Citizen. We will ask you to meet the criteria for access to our, partner's, and client's technologies and meet import/export controls laws and regulations
