Along the way they learn the power of friendship, connection, and teamwork.  Girl Scouts are doers, innovators, problem-solvers, creators, and dreamers, and the GSUSA team is here to center, support, and inspire them, working with 111 local councils across the country and USA Girl Scouts Overseas to deliver our life-changing Girl Scout Leadership Experience.   The Marketing team at Girl Scouts of the USA plays a key role in ensuring the Girl Scout brand remains relevant, visible, and engaging for today’s audiences. #LI-Remote  You Will The Associate, Video & Photography is responsible for creating compelling video and photo content that brings the Girl Scout brand and story to life across digital and print channels. This role supports the development of engaging, high-quality visual assets aligned with brand standards and tailored to diverse audiences, including youth and caregivers.   The Associate contributes across the full production lifecycle, including shooting, editing, and supporting pre- and post-production activities. This role requires strong storytelling ability, technical expertise in video and photo production, and the ability to collaborate effectively across creative and business teams to translate ideas into impactful content. Essential Responsibilities Capture, edit, and produce video and photo content for digital, social, and print channels Set up and operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment in studio and on location Manage and organize video and photo assets, releases, and departmental files Support pre-production and post-production processes, including planning, coordination, and editing Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute creative briefs and deliver content aligned to brand guidelines Contribute to broader storytelling initiatives and creative projects across the organization Ensure content reflects brand standards, audience needs, and organizational priorities Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality Track project timelines, deliverables, approvals, and production schedules Stay up-to-date on current on trends in video, photo, and youth-focused content to inform creative execution Coordinate with external photographers, videographers, editors, and creative partners as needed Provide photo and video support for executive communications, including projects involving the CEO and senior leadership team Note: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or activities required of the role. Required Competencies Strong visual storytelling and content creation capability Ability to translate ideas into engaging video and photo assets Ability to work within brand guidelines while bringing creative ideas forward Collaboration and communication skills across creative and non-creative stakeholders Self-direction, follow-through, and accountability for deliverables Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with senior leadership Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Required Technical Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop Experience with video and photo camera equipment, lighting, and audio setup Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools You Need Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a corporate environment Knowledge of video and photo production processes, including shooting, editing, and asset management Understanding of brand storytelling and content development for multiple channels and audiences Familiarity with creative workflows, briefs, and cross-functional collaboration Preferred: Experience producing content for youth-focused or mission-driven organizations Familiarity with multi-channel digital content strategies Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools Experience working across both video and photography workflows Portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling and technical ability in video and/or photo Experience working in agency, in-house, or fast-paced creative environments   SALARY RANGE: $66,000 - $80,000 This represents the present low and high end of the pay range for this position. This pay range is only applicable to NYC Metro-based employees, on a hybrid schedule.  Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.   What We Offer:  Girl Scouts is powered by people, and we encourage our team members to be their best selves in and out of the office. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with a 35 hour per week schedule.
