The Associate/Senior Associate in the Corporate Development Office will support high-priority strategic investments and assist in all stages of the M&A lifecycle, including company identification and transaction execution.
Responsibilities
- Help execute high-priority strategic investments for Deloitte Canada and support the firm’s inorganic growth initiatives
- Support in all stages of the M&A lifecycle, including company identification, transaction execution, integration planning and monitoring
- Provide robust project management across various organizational functions during a due diligence process
- Leverage analytical skills in assessing the strategic fit of companies or in preparing valuation models
Skills
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, investment, valuation and/or in strategy development
- Proficiency in Excel financial modelling and PowerPoint presentation building
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- An inclusive team player who brings flexibility, humility, and professionalism to their work
