Assistant Facility Security Officer - AFSO (5653)

OLH Technical Services, LLC, a government contracting industry leader, is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to join our Team.  

The AFSO supports the FSO by monitoring, administering, and coordinating DOD and non-DOD Federal agency industrial security programs and other activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. 

Position Overview:

The AFSO will process and review personnel security clearance requests, maintain security documentation and files, develop and update clearance and suitability rosters, communicate and coordinate security activities with program managers and subsidiary AFSOs, and utilize multiple information system databases  in accordance with government requirements. The AFSO must understand and have working experience with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and other security requirements for DOD and non-DOD Federal agencies, be very detail oriented, and can function independently and effectively with minimal supervision. The AFSO must be able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner while being responsive to frequently changing and time sensitive requirements. Experience working with complex business structures and administering contract security requirements in support of both DOD and non-DOD Federal agencies is highly preferred.

This is position will require periodic in-office work requirements.  East Coast candidates residing within commuting distance of TSB and subsidiary offices in VA, SC, and NC are preferred.   

Hiring Range: $24.00- $28.50 per hour
