What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a variety of essential functions that keep our operations running smoothly. The following responsibilities reflect the core duties of this position:
- Ticket Operations: Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets with accuracy and efficiency
- Reservation Management: Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations while providing excellent customer service
- Rebooking Services: Rebook travelers on oversold flights and handle irregular operations with professionalism
- Check-In Procedures: Perform passenger check-in and front seat assignments (excluding curbside), address oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades as needed
- Traveler Assistance: Issue vouchers and coordinate with contractors for passenger lodging, meals, and transportation during delays or disruptions
- Boarding Processes: Handle passenger boarding, including ticket lift and verification procedures
- Gate Operations: Operate gate reader/scanner equipment and perform related duties including pre-boarding, monitoring carry-on items, and enforcing exit lane policies
- Jetway Operations: Operate jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers
- Announcements: Make boarding and departure gate announcements in a clear and professional manner
- Flight Records: Deliver domestic and international flight records accurately and timely
- Flight Close-Out: Perform passenger service flight close-out procedures with attention to detail
- Baggage Services: Accept, check, and tag passengers' items at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and first-class ticket counters
- Timeline Management: Maintain the timeline of the flight boarding process to ensure smooth operations
- Training Support: Participate in customer service hands-on training to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Financial Transactions: Process and complete Mastercard credit card transactions at kiosks in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Self-Service Assistance: Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage handling at ticket counters
- Queue Management: Manage lines at ticket counter kiosks and ticket counters efficiently
- Document Verification: Clear/verify international documents at kiosks in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Baggage Activation: Accept and activate passengers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
- Special Assistance: Help clients requiring special assistance or in-station support; assist with boarding, deplaning, and transferring non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance passengers, and unaccompanied minors
- Regional Operations: Perform customer care work associated with handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
- Attendance Requirements: Maintain regular and predictable on-site attendance, including meeting any mandatory overtime requirements
- Emergency Response: Respond and assist during security or emergency situations with composure and professionalism
- Gate Information: Provide connecting passengers with gate information and directions
- Quality Service: Deliver quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with arenaflex guidelines
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Training Completion: Complete all applicable job training phases to maintain proficiency
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with government regulations (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA) and all applicable laws
- System Utilization: Use various internal resources and systems effectively during customer interactions
- Professional Appearance: Wear uniforms as required by company policy

All You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Language Skills: Bilingual language abilities may be required in certain locations
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Security Clearance: Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access credentials to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Airport Credentials: Must be able to obtain appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security identifications, if applicable
- Background Check: Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

- System Knowledge: Working knowledge of Sabre or any other Passenger Service System
- Customer Service Experience: Previous in-person customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
