In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a project—from the initial conceptual sketches to overseeing the final construction. Key Responsibilities
- Design & Planning: Conceptualize and develop detailed blueprints for buildings and structures that balance aesthetic vision with practical functionality.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure all designs meet safety standards, building codes, and zoning regulations.
- Project Management: Oversee construction progress to ensure the build aligns with the original design intent and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure a seamless workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Software Proficiency: * AutoCAD: Expert-level precision for 2D drafting and technical detailing.
- SketchUp: Ability to create 3D models and renderings for client presentations.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Strong skills in Word, Excel (for budgeting/schedules), and Outlook.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of structural integrity, sustainable design practices, and construction materials.
- Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with local building codes and the permit application process.
