Responsibilities
- Researching qualified individual, foundation, and corporate donor prospects and creating profiles
- Writing content for communications such as emails, letters, proposals, and brochures
- Assisting with data entry, clean-up, and analysis
- Creating, maintaining, and coordinating project schedules and tasks across various internal and external parties to ensure timely project completion
- Acquiring proficiency in AmPhil systems and Microsoft Office programs and assisting with the formatting and editing of projects on these platforms
- Developing familiarity with key fundraising concepts, as well as important ideas and figures in AmPhil’s landscape
- Providing proofing and quality control support
- Scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, drafting emails and agendas, and performing other administrative tasks
- Contributing to firm culture through strong engagement, communication, collegiality, and conviviality
Skills
- At least one year of professional experience
- Ability to spend time in AmPhil's Denver-area office in Littleton on a regular basis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong engagement, communication, collegiality, and conviviality
- A liberal arts background
- Some familiarity with nonprofits and fundraising
