Our client, a reputable university renowned for its commitment to progressive education, is seeking passionate and experienced Adjunct Professors to teach Early Childhood Education courses. This role is ideal for educators and professionals who wish to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of early childhood educators. The position offers full remote teaching flexibility, allowing instructors to deliver high-quality education from anywhere. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging lectures and course materials for undergraduate and graduate Early Childhood Education courses. Facilitate stimulating discussions and interactive learning activities, both synchronously and asynchronously. Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and other evaluation methods, providing timely and constructive feedback. Maintain accurate student records and submit grades according to university policies. Adhere to course syllabi and learning objectives, adapting content to meet student needs when appropriate. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and professional development. Stay current with research, best practices, and emerging trends in Early Childhood Education. Participate in virtual faculty meetings and contribute to departmental discussions. Advise students on academic matters and career pathways within Early Childhood Education. Utilize various online learning platforms and educational technologies effectively. Uphold the university's standards of academic excellence and integrity. Qualifications: Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a closely related field. A Doctoral degree is preferred. Demonstrated expertise and practical experience in Early Childhood Education settings. Previous teaching experience at the university level, preferably in an online or hybrid format. Strong understanding of child development theories and pedagogical approaches for young learners. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle. Ability to design and deliver effective online course content. Commitment to student success and fostering a positive learning environment. Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment for remote instruction. Passion for mentoring and educating aspiring Early Childhood professionals. Knowledge of state and national standards for Early Childhood Education is beneficial. This is a remote position, allowing you to impact education from afar. While the university community might be associated with Las Vegas, Nevada, US , the teaching responsibilities are entirely online.
