Role Overview
Adjunct Faculty members provide quality and innovative instruction and meaningful engagement with students to successfully achieve course, program, and degree level outcomes. They work remotely and support the academic success of students through various means of communication.
What You Will Do
Prepare instructional materials, provide instruction in assigned courses, engage with students, and maintain accessibility for students and academic leadership. You will also assess student performance, provide feedback, and refer students to resources as needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role is a good fit for those with strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in teaching and research. Preference is given to those with research expertise in statistics and deep learning, Bayesian statistics, or health data analytics.
Requirements
- DHA or Ph.D in Statistics, Biostatistics, Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related field
- Experience teaching online classes (asynchronous and/or synchronous)
- Strong research potential and commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and student success
